We recently hosted a group of land managers from Iceland. They 
came to study woodland, and were particularly interested in native woodland management, so Glen Tanar pinewood was ideal study site. As they have only recently established their woodland, the issue of forest fire had not occurred to them: they were therefore intrigued by the work done in Glen Tanar on wildfire management.
